Jim Penix started Treasure Coast Yacht Sales in March 2003 as a small firm buying and selling some wholesale boats while working for the largest Luhrs/Mainship Dealer in the World. His experience in the boating industry includes all aspects, from Cruising to Racing to Charter Fishing, for over 25 years. In 2006 Jim broke away to form a complete Yacht Sales and Brokerage firm and the success has followed ever since. With an office located in the prestigious Manatee Pocket, home to some of the best fishing in Florida, Treasure Coast Yacht Sales has now expanded to include a New Boat Sales Division, a Luhrs/Mainship Pre-Enjoyed Division and Mobil Service Division.

The Sales Staff at Treasure Coast Yacht Sales is experienced in all facets of a sale, including National and International Sales. We have access to all the best Internet databases and print materials at our disposal, so we have the ability to search the planet for the right boat if you're buying, or to market your boat to the best buyers available. TCYS works with other Brokerage firms on a daily basis, and we have access to some of the best Surveyors, Captains, Marinas and Service Personnel in the business. Cruising or Fishing, Motoryachts or Sportfishing Yachts, small or large, we can find it and we can sell it.
